Dr. Freddy B. Wilson was born in Atlanta, GA and graduated East Atlanta High School in 1977. He left Atlanta to attend the US Air Force Academy Prep School and later attended the US Air Force Academy until he became an upper classman. Dr. Wilson resigned from the Academy in 1979. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1980 and served a total of 22 years. He initially was in Aircraft Maintenance for nearly 8 years then was finally accepted into the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) as a military Special Agent in 1987. He graduated the special investigations course in 1988 and has served as a federal Law Enforcement agent
since that time. He retired from the military in 2000 and became a civilian Special Agent. He gained a lot of experience in law enforcement, management, and leadership positions over the years both in the US and overseas. Dr. Wilson and his wife have been married for 23 years and have five children. Dr. Wilson received associate’s degrees in Aircraft Maintenance Technology in 1986 and in Police Science in 1996 from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor’s degree in Management in 1997 from Park College (now Park University), a MBA in 2002 from Regis University, and a Doctorate of Management (DM), Organizational Leadership, from the University of Phoenix in 2007. Dr. Wilson believes that God sent him on his life’s journey and feels God wants him to write to inspire others and understand the goodness of God. He co-wrote a book titled, The Power of Christian Friendship. Dr. Wilson is the owner of a small business that deals with custom computers, mobile electronics, and commercial and residential cleaning. Dr. Wilson plans to grow his private business and help others do the same in business and personal success.
Dr. Ward holds a Ph.D. in Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He has over 21 years experience as a human resources manager for a
fortune 100 company, where he served in a variety of positions including Employment Office Manager, Organization Development Consultant, and Performance Improvement Consultant.
Dr. Ward has spent the last seven years designing and delivering intervention programs to "at-risk" youth and chronic offenders in DeKalb County Schools. He works as a Student
Support Specialist in the Prevention and Intervention Department is currently assigned to Stone Mountain High School.
Ms Jackson is a human resources professional with over fifteen years of human resources experience in various industries such as: higher ed, state and local governments, as well as the financial sector. She has advised management and staff on employment, classification and compensation, testing, and FMLA compliance issues. She is currently, the Director of Classification and Compensation at Georgia State University. She also a Certified Affirmative Action Professional, Certified Career Transition Coach and Trained DiSC Facilitator. Miriam also serves on the board of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Decatur/Dekalb Chapter and was a mentor with Big Brother Big Sister of Metro Atlanta. Miriam holds an MBA in Human Resources from Walden University, a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Morgan State University, and an Associate degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu – Atlanta. She owns and operates her own personal chef/catering business entitled MJ Delights, LLC. She specializes in various cuisines and desserts. With 26 flavors of cheesecakes under her belt, she is wellliked by her co-workers and friends, who serves as her taste testers.
